Space Needle Towers above Seattle Center and Pacific Science Center at Night

by Jason Vines

The first evening I was in Seattle, after my initial sunset shoot at Kerry Park, drizzle began to fall. I hustled down Queen Anne Hill into the more civic and commercial areas of the city on my way back to my hotel on Alaskan Way. I didn’t just take Uber because I wanted to see the city, as well as get in all the cardio I could to balance my gluttony on the trip!

The drizzle stopped by the time I reached the Seattle Center area, with the Space Needle and the Science Center. And I was struck by how beautiful the scene was, lit up for the night. So I once more shed my backpack, retrieved my camera and tripod, and got to work.
